Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Uganda and Transfer to the Hotel/Lodge

Upon arrival in Uganda and completion of immigration formalities, a company guide warmly welcomes you and transfers you to your reserved accommodation in Entebbe.

Day 2: Rhino Tracking at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary and Drive to Gulu

At 07:30 AM, depart for Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola District on a 3–4-hour drive. Along the way, stop at Luwero fruit market, a roadside market where you can sample locally grown organic fruits.

At Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, enjoy 1–2 hours of guided rhino tracking on foot, accompanied by trained rangers as you follow the trails of southern white rhinos through their natural habitat.

After the rhino tracking experience, continue with a 3–4-hour drive to Gulu, the largest city in northern Uganda. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation for an overnight stay.

Day 3: Travel to Kidepo Valley National Park

At 08:00 AM, embark on a 5–6-hour drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, passing through rugged hills, open plains, and traditional homesteads while enjoying scenic views of northeastern Uganda.

Upon arrival in Kidepo Valley National Park, enjoy a Karamojong cultural experience at a traditional homestead. Meet local elders, explore their kraals, and discover their way of life, traditions, and distinctive homes.

Day 4: Morning and Afternoon Game Drives in Kidepo Valley National Park

Today, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives through the pristine wilderness of Kidepo Valley National Park, with opportunities to spot giraffes, antelopes, elephants, and large buffalo herds.

The game drives also offer opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, and striped hyenas, along with other wildlife, making for a rewarding day of exploration.

Day 5: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park

Today, the safari continues with a scenic 7–8-hour drive from Kidepo Valley National Park to Murchison Falls National Park, with an en-route lunch stop in Gulu.

Along the way, enjoy views of flat landscapes, striking inselbergs, and traditional Acholi homesteads, offering glimpses into the region’s cultural heritage.

Upon arrival, spend the rest of the evening relaxing at your lodge and enjoying the surrounding scenery.

Day 6: Morning Game Drive & Boat Trip to the Bottom of Murchison Falls

Today, enjoy a morning game drive across the northern sector of Murchison Falls National Park, with opportunities to encounter diverse wildlife, spot predators, and observe a variety of bird species.

At 14:00, embark on a three-hour shared boat trip along the Victoria Nile to the bottom of Murchison Falls. Along the riverbanks, watch for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and various bird species.

After the boat trip, return to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay, with possible wildlife sightings along the way.

Day 7: Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, embark on an 8–9-hour drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through the scenic Bugungu Wildlife Reserve. You may spot baboons and monkeys along the roadside as you travel through the reserve.

At the Butiaba Escarpment, enjoy panoramic views of Lake Albert. Make brief stops to admire tea and banana plantations, capture photographs, and interact with local farmers.

Enjoy lunch in Fort Portal City before continuing to your accommodation in Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 8: Morning Game Drive & Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Today, enjoy a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park, offering opportunities to encounter diverse wildlife and bird species.

After the game drive, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park on a 4–5-hour journey for the main highlight of the safari, gorilla trekking.

Along the way, enjoy scenic views of southwestern Uganda’s rolling hills, terraced landscapes, and lush countryside.

Day 9: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

At 08:00 AM, attend a briefing where experienced rangers provide trekking guidelines. You then join other participants and trek to an assigned habituated gorilla family through Bwindi’s steep, densely forested slopes.

Once you locate the gorilla family, spend up to one hour observing and photographing their behaviour and interactions in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Travel to Lake Mburo National Park & Walking Safari

Today, drive from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Mburo National Park in the morning, a journey of about 5 hours, with a lunch stop in Mbarara City along the way.

Upon arrival, enjoy a 3-hour guided walking safari, exploring Lake Mburo National Park on foot and experiencing its wildlife, birdlife, and landscapes at close range.

Day 11: Visit a Bahima Homestead & Transfer to Entebbe Airport

In the morning, enjoy a Bahima cultural experience by participating in Ankole long-horned cattle herding and learning about traditional cattle management from local herders.

After the cultural experience, travel to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight, with a stop at the Kayabwe Equator Monument to take photographs and enjoy demonstrations at the equator.
