Itinerary
Upon arrival in Uganda, your assigned guide welcomes you and transfers you to your reserved lodge in Entebbe for a relaxing evening and overnight stay.
If you arrive in the early afternoon, enjoy a nature walk in the Entebbe Botanical Gardens. The gardens feature a variety of tree species that attract numerous birds, butterflies, and primates, including monkeys.
The nature walk offers a rewarding introduction to Uganda, combining leisure, learning, and a connection with the natural environment.
Meal Plan: Lunch & Dinner
After breakfast, begin the drive to Kibale National Park, located in western Uganda. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of Uganda’s diverse landscapes and urban surroundings.
Have lunch in Fort Portal City before continuing to Kibale National Park. Upon arrival, relax at your reserved lodge for the rest of the evening.
If you choose, several optional evening activities are available at an additional cost. These include the Bigodi Swamp and community walk, a tea estate visit, Crater Lake exploration, cycling, and birdwatching.
Note: Drive time from Entebbe to Kibale National Park is approximately 6–7 hours.

After an early breakfast, drive for about 10 minutes to the Kanyanchu Visitors’ Centre for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking guidelines and safety procedures.
Following the briefing, enter Kibale’s dense tropical forest for chimpanzee tracking, with opportunities to encounter chimpanzees in their natural habitat.
Once you locate the chimpanzees, you spend up to one hour observing them, taking photographs, and learning about their fascinating behaviours and similarities to humans.
Later, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, enjoying scenic views of the Rwenzori Mountains and rural countryside along the way.
Upon arrival, proceed to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Begin the day with a morning game drive across the Kasenyi Plains in Queen Elizabeth National Park. The plains offer excellent opportunities to see a variety of wildlife and bird species.
During the game drive, look out for waterbucks, Uganda kobs, bushbucks, elephants, buffaloes, lions, warthogs, and other wildlife species.
After the game drive, travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to a significant population of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas and an exceptional gorilla trekking experience.
Along the way, enjoy breathtaking views of Uganda’s scenic countryside, including rolling hills and distinctive terraced landscapes.
Note: Drive time from Queen Elizabeth National Park to Bwindi is approximately 4–5 hours.

After an early breakfast, take a short drive to the briefing centre for the 8:00 a.m. gorilla trekking briefing. Experienced park rangers explain the guidelines and safety procedures for the trek.
Following the briefing, begin the trek through Bwindi’s steep, dense forest in search of your assigned gorilla family. The challenging trek offers an unforgettable opportunity to encounter mountain gorillas in their natural habitat.
Once you locate the gorillas, spend up to one hour observing them, taking photographs, and watching their natural interactions.
After the gorilla trekking experience, return to the lodge to relax and enjoy the rest of the day.

In the morning, travel to Lake Mburo National Park, known for its scenic landscapes and diverse wildlife. Stop for lunch in Mbarara City before continuing the journey, arriving in the late afternoon.
Upon arrival, embark on a guided nature walk through the park. Lake Mburo is the only national park in Uganda offering guided walking safaris, providing a unique way to explore its wilderness.
During the three-hour walk, look out for wildlife such as impalas, waterbucks, topis, elands, oribis, bushbucks, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, and a variety of bird species.

After breakfast, enjoy a final game drive through Lake Mburo National Park, taking in its scenic landscapes and wildlife sightings before heading to Entebbe Airport for your departure flight.
