Itinerary
Upon arrival at Entebbe airport and the conclusion of immigration procedures, a company guide/driver will warmly receive you at the designated waiting area. The guide will transfer you to your reserved accommodation in or around Entebbe town.
If you arrive in the country by the afternoon or earlier, you will go for a delightful two-hour sunset cruise on the serene waters of Lake Victoria. This captivating experience offers an opportunity to view the sun setting over the horizon while observing local fishermen casting their nets. As you relax, enjoy the complimentary snacks and drinks onboard as you soak in the picturesque views. The sunset cruise typically begins at 5:00 PM, after which you’ll return to your hotel for a restful evening.
At the hotel, enjoy a romantic lakeside dinner, where the serene ambiance and scenic surroundings offer a perfect setting for a lovely evening.

After a relaxed breakfast, you will embark on a 6-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park. You will stop at the Equator monument in Kayabwe to take photos and enjoy the captivating experiments demonstrating how the gravitational pull at the Equator latitude varies from that at other latitudes. The experiments show how water swirls in opposite directions on either side of the equator line.
In the evening, you will enter the park and conduct a game drive where you will encounter a variety of animals and birds. The park is home to over fifty distinctive animal species, including antelopes (Topis, Elands, Impalas, Reedbucks, Deffassa Waterbucks, & Oribis), hyenas, zebras, buffaloes, warthogs, hippos, and more. The park is also home to several bird species, including aquatic ones and those that live in the acacia trees. Some birds found in Lake Mburo National Park include the bare-faced go-away bird, the black-bellied bustard, the uncommon Shoe Bill stork, the African finfoot, the African wattled lapwing, and others.

Following the horseback excursion, you will return to the lodge to unwind for the rest of the day.

Situated on the exclusive Kalagala Island, this opulent resort provides a serene retreat for relaxation and intimate moments. It is on six hectares of granite rocks in the heart of the renowned River Nile, where thunderous roars of exhilarating rapids echo all the time.
Upon arrival, you can relax and enjoy the serene atmosphere or take a refreshing swim in the pool, positioned perfectly to offer breathtaking views of the Nile's powerful rapids.
